Aggressive reporter for the city’s newspaper is committed to the West to help her with the story, but after the assassination of one of its employees to quickly align its efforts with the West and the sheriff. How the West is working closely with the reporter, he wonders if it could, since his devastating divorce a few years ago to be the first real attitude towards them. 

The killer, though, has other plans for her, as he believes that it has become a threat to his anonymity.  The story is twisted back and forth, leading to an inevitable confrontation.
