On the other hand, there is a positive side, India # 8217; S strategic partnership with Russia, the USA, France, UK, Germany and Japan, as well as the blossoming relationship with Bangladesh. India # 8217, S internal security situation is less alarming, with the progress in negotiations with some of the north-eastern part of the insurgent outfits; a sharp drop in losses due to left extremism (LWE); and a gradual reduction in terrorist incidents in Kashmir. But sporadic cross-border infiltration in Kashmir and distribution of LWE in urban areas continues to pose problems.
