This book explores architecture as a form of diplomacy in the context of World War II in six major European international and national exhibitions, which took place between 1937 and 1959, the volume provides a fascinating account of Architecture takes on the role of Warsaw Posts media-related, some of them masked while others are pretty candid. This indicates a significant difference in relation to the American exposition commissioners, who were less suited to the impending war, than their European counterparts. The book gives a new estimate of modern architecture # 226; # 8364; # 8482; s involvement with the national office. Whether in the service of Fascist Italy and Imperial Japan, the Spanish Republic or post-war Franco regime, the French Popular Front and the Socialist Yugoslavia, the nascent capitalist West Germany or the US, Stalinist Russia or post-colonial Britain, architecture exhibition in the period under review was driven by a deep faith in his ability to represent the ideology. The book argues that it is a common confidence in architecture # 226; # 8364; # 8482, S ability to act was one of the reasons as a propaganda tool, why modernist architecture lends itself to the service of different masters.
